I look at jewellery objects as something natural and as an opportunity for art to interact with life in its personal, everyday setting and surrounding. By bringing art from the gallery to our entangled everyday lives, it becomes a living object and takes a natural part of our lives. In short, I look upon a piece of jewellery as a small expression of art intended for the public eye.

Living and working in Stockholm, Sweden, for nearly 20 years, allowed me to absorb experiences from new surroundings and to create a path with (my) order in my work. My creative process consists of managing the interaction with the external and arranging it with personal aspirations and inspirations. I like to believe that a work of art can offer an alternative, a parallel opportunity and often different from the communal way of thinking.- In the book “A-Gallery. Estonian art jewellery gallery for 20 years” (2014)
