Jewellery is also means of communication for me. It describes me and my relationship with the surrounding world.

I cannot answer the question, how my jewellery is born. I often start thinking only in the sphere of influence following the loss of items and feelings, either in site-specific, psychical or social-cultural sense. In my creation I try to concentrate feelings and experiences I have had myself. Meanings of my jewellery are legible mainly on emotional level, they are personal and often contradictory.

I like combinations between different extremes, organic forms, dim materials and ambivalent things. I create items within the power of my game.- In the book “A-Gallery. I never get enough of his simplicity, unexpected solutions, and incredible forms. My ideal living environment is a forest with blueberries. The name of the blueberry in Estonian (mustikas, “black” berry), comes from the colour of its berries, as well as the fact that the ripe berries break easily and stain. The stems of blueberries also have a very distinctive form, which are very enchanting in their uniqueness. By weaving them into various forms, I’m able to create new forms.” – Kaire Rannik at the A-Gallery exhibition MEMORY CARDS (2019)

["post-33574","artist","type-artist","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
