Elize Hiiop (1977) is an Estonian jewellery artist and designer who graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in jewellery and blacksmithing in 2005. In addition, she has also studied glass and ceramics at the Estonian Academy of Arts and is a member of the Estonian Ceramists’ Union and the Estonian Watercolorists’ Association. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe, China, Mexico and the United States, and her works are in several private collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hiiop has been dedicated to researching the possibilities of porcelain as a material for more than 20 years, having in recent years focused on the research of 3D printing of bone china and cellulose fibers, combining traditional materials with novel technologies.
