With a background in linguistics, her interest in semiotics has led her to explore the intersection of material narratives and meaning-making within craft practice. Her works often trace states of becoming, examining the delicate boundary between absence and presence.

After receiving her BFA from Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy, she pursued her master’s degree at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn, Estonia, during which she also completed an exchange semester at Trier University’s Idar-Oberstein campus to study lapidary.
