Maria Valdma Härm (b 1973 in Kärdla)

2000 EAA, MA (cum laude)

In 1996 I joined the group F.F.F.F., which became an essential platform for my current creative activities. The group was active until 2005. In exhibitions I have participated since 1994, individually and with F.F.F.F., in Estonia and abroad. Their list includes also four personal exhibitions. My works can be found in private collections as well as the collections of the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design and the Estonian Art Museum.

I have been a member of Artists’ Association since 2002. In the same year I received annual award of the Cultural Endowment (F.F.F.F.), in 2009 the award of A-Gallery for the best exhibition of the year – “Dust”. In parallel to creative activities I have worked as an art teacher and currently I am working as a gallerist in HOP Gallery of the Estonian Artists’ Association.

“Knots… as a symbol of the moment. When you have had to pause. When the path is no longer a straight. The point of meetings, giving gifts, recollections and remembering.” – Maria Valdma at the A-Gallery exhibition MEMORY CARDS (2019)
